Medical Dialysis Introduction

Medical dialysis can be divided into hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Essentially, it can exclude harmful substances in the body through the semipermeable membrane, which is the most effective way to treat renal failure at present. Hemodialysis brings the patient's blood into a dialyzer through a disposable tube and after the dialysis is completed, the blood will be re-injected into the patient.

 

XY-TEK CG series clamp-on ultrasonic flow sensor can monitor the blood pump of the dialysis machine in real time. The warning will be shown once the disposable tube gets blocked. Similarly, when the automatic peritoneal dialysis machine uses the peristaltic pump to control the flow rate and flow volume of the dialysate, the XY-TEK flow sensor will test the peristaltic pump to secure its normal operation.
